Yesterday I received a note from the University of Chicago Divinity School with news of my admission to the PhD program in theology! The news is still a little hard to take in. After four months of waiting, the opportunity that I’ve been hoping for has finally come to be!

AAR Annual Meeting 2009

AAR logoToday I returned home from the annual meeting of the American Academy of Religion which was held in Montreal, Canada.

This has been a weekend of firsts:  my first trip to the AAR, my first trip to Canada, and my first presentation at a national conference.  All in all it was a lot of fun…
